Investment Fund to support organizational development of OCEAC
The project provides technical support to the Organization for the Coordination of the fight against Endemics in Central Africa (OCEAC) and support in managing an investment fund to improve the technical capacities and the organisational performance of OCEAC.
GFA ensures the technical assistance and the management of the investment fund. The key expert and the short-term experts support OCEAC in fund managing, identifying weaknesses in the functioning of the organisation, determining best possible measures for improvement and in organising procurement of goods and services needed for the organisational development of this important institution in Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC).
GFA B.I.S. Services
GFA B.I.S. was commissioned by GFA Consulting Group to provide technical support in the development of the financial management capacity of the organization focused on software and IT infrastructure. The engagement started with the organizational analysis covering people, processes and software tools in use in the Finance and Administration departments of OCEAC. Subsequently, the GFA B.I.S. consultant prepared an improvement plan and supported OCEAC through the whole procurement cycle as well as with the implementation of a new financial management solution based on Tom2Pro, a document management system based on SharePoint and an upgrade to IT infrastructure.
